10" Domed Radius Dishes

Domed radius dishes are used to put a radius on your bridge before gluing the bridge on. We offer them in 2 different shapes and 2 different materials.

Materials used:

1. Our New revolutionary material for radius dishes...Waterproof EXTIRA MDF. This is a new material that we found to be excellent for radius dishes. This material is virtually waterproof and a very stable material for radius dishes.

2. 13ply no void Birch plywood...also a very stable material for radius dishes.

Both materials are good for domed dishes, and curling and warping is not a concern since they are so small, and they have a convex curve instead of a concave curve.

Sizes Offered:

1. 10" diameter round dish by .75" thick, in any radius from 20' to 42'. You just need to tell us your radius when ordering.

2. 10" long by 6" wide and .75" thick, in any radius from 20' to 42'. You just need to tell us your radius when ordering.



10" Round Domed Radius Dish - 13ply Birch

This is a 10" diameter Round Domed radius dish . This dish is made with the highest quality 13ply voidless birch. These come in any radius from 20' to 42'. We do not sell these with sandpaper.

How to Use This Product
These domed radius dishes are used to put a radius on the bottom of your bridge before gluing the bridge. Just put a small piece of 80 grit sandpaper on the dome and sand the bottom of your bridge until the correct radius is produced. A note of caution...putting a radius on the bottom of a finished bridge could alter the action of the guitar. You should put the radius on the bottom before thicknessing the bridge to avoid this issue.

10" x 6" x .75" Domed Radius Dish - 13ply Birch

This domed radius dish is basically the same domed dish but with a 2" slice off of each side. This gives a dimension of 10" x 6" x.75". The reason for this shape is that it allows you to clamp this jig in a bench vise so it doesn't move around while sanding. These come in any radius from 20' to 42'. We do not sell these with sandpaper.

10" x 6" x .75" Domed Radius Dish - EXTIRA Waterproof MDF

This domed radius dish is basically the same domed dish but with a 2" slice off of each side. This gives a dimension of 10" x 6" x.75".
